Barefoot Play's Mission

These workshops are given with the intention of supporting the community and assisting people to be independent in their own well-being. By practicing movement, we add another tool to our toolkit of self care. By holding workshops, Barefoot Play's Vision is to: 1. Supporting people's process to actualize living from the heart. 2. Nurture the culture of movement as a resource for the expansion of collective consciousness. 3. Unify people in peace, love, and happiness through a revolution of play.

The Purpose of Movement

Our lives are relationship based. We have a relationship with everything you can see, touch, taste, hear, smell, and imagine. The purpose of movement is to improve these relationships through service. In Barefoot Play workshops, we breakdown our relationships into four categories: 1. Ourselves 2. Others 3. Our environment 4. The Universe/ God/ The Divine From this perspective, we practice the skill of listening to these four categories, to then respond in service to them. From there we can know how to move through life.
